Suomi-koulu is a not-for-profit organization and a community founded by parents. Our school is primarily run by volunteers, and we have many volunteer opportunities. The options include: fundraising, helping with the school shop or library, organizing or helping with events, making coffee, carrying tables, and helping with set-up or clean-up.
We are also always seeking people interested in joining our Board of Directors or our teaching team. We offer training, tools and a fun team.
As a volunteer, you get to directly work towards Finnish-Canadian cultural exchange, help maintain and develop our vibrant community and have the opportunity to meet other families and make friends. Whether you’re looking to volunteer for 10 minutes or 10 years, we are committed to finding a suitable role for anyone interested in helping the school community!
