We meet monthly, usually on two Fridays and one Saturday a month. Regular hours on Fridays from 6-8 pm and once a month on Saturdays from 10 am - 1 pm. Besides Finnish language and culture education, we provide our students and families an essential link to Finnish culture and heritage in the Greater Toronto Area. Our fun, engaging classes include arts and crafts, music, drama, baking and other activities. We organize family events to spend time and celebrate together. Open to ages 4+. Classes meet at Agricola Finnish Lutheran Church at Yonge & York Mills in Toronto.

$180 for the winter/spring semester (January to June).

We are offering a course for kids 8+ and a course for kids 4+. It is an opportunity to meet others with Finnish roots, use our unique language, and find things we share as Finns.

You can either register just for virtual classes or both virtual classes and in-person Saturday Clubs.

Music Magic for Ages 0-3 Years with Parents 

🎵 Finnish Kids Songs and Play: Dive into the world of Finnish modern melodies and playful tunes, connecting your child with cultural heritage in a joyful way! 🎈 Bubble-icious Fun: Get ready for giggles and glee as we create musical melodies with soap bubbles, turning music time into a magical bubble moment! 🌈 Musical Story Adventures: Let your child's imagination soar as we embark on musical journeys through stories, using songs to bring tales to life! 🎉 Interactive Rhythm Games: Clap, stomp, and dance along in our lively rhythm games, fostering motor skills and musicality while enjoying the tunes.

We will meet on Fridays and Saturdays at Finnish Language School times.

On Fridays: Music School from 6 pm - 6:30 pm followed by a parent-led playgroup and parents' social. On Saturdays: Music School from 10:30 am - 11 am followed by a playgroup and parents' social until 12:30 pm. Tuition covers the program and other special events at the school (e.g., concerts, celebrations, trips).

$70 for the winter/spring semester (January to June).

You’ll have a chance to learn everyday Finnish as well as things about Finnish culture together with your group in a friendly, relaxed environment. The main focus of the course is on improving your ability to speak Finnish with your friends and relatives or when traveling in Finland. You will increase your vocabulary, practice speaking, reading and writing, and learn grammar in friendly little snack-bites. In a small group, teachers can accommodate different learning needs. Courses begin a few times a year.
